The Knight of Flowers.Personality
Upon first glance, and often first introduction, Loras Tyrell is a typical seventeen year old heart throb. Romantic, kind, patient, a true gallant knight… Unless you upset him in any way, shape or form. He can then get testy and distant, rather being lost inside his head than talking to anyone- and when he does talk to someone when he is upset, he snaps at them quite ferociously. Loras is often described as a ‘rose with thorns’ as well as the rest of his family, and it’s best to stay on his good side. Friend, not foe- even though friends make mistakes sometimes as well. He was/is titled ‘The Knight of Flowers’ and most of the time, his personality reflects that title. Though he does have an arrogant, and somewhat selfish streak.
It’s in the Tyrell blood.
Loras is also rather skilled in combat- jousting and sword fighting. His looks betray him when it comes to what he is capable of in a tourney or battle. Though he is youthful and handsome, slender and beautiful, he can really do some damage a’horse and with a sword in his hand. And he takes pride in that - winning melee’s and tourney’s by the dozen. It adds to his slight ego, and slight arrogance.
But he is charming, nevertheless, and quite the ladies man. Well… Perhaps not, because does not return the affections of ladies. Yet he won’t be unkind. In fact, he acts just as gentlemanly and gallant to any flirting, blushing girl as any other.
Appearance
Loras has brown hair that is curly on some days, and straight on others. It falls to just above his shoulders, and can look a lighter shade of brown in the sun. His eyes are a light hazel color that is often mistake for green, and they are somewhat large and innocent looking despite his personality.
He has a lean build, but still built enough for fighting as he definitely has that athletic figure. Muscles on his arms, stomach and legs give him a strong frame for battling in tourney's and for protecting others.
His skin is a beautiful ivory, but rough around his hands from wielding a sword so often.
After the death of his king, a light that used to be apparent in his eyes had disappeared, and he rarely smiles or laughs at simple things. Yet he doesn't let his disappointment out unless he is angry.
